What is the TPI Relocation Kit and what does it do?
Let's start with a short explanation. In the current TPI models, the fuel and the oil are injected at two different points. This can result in your engine running without oil lubrication for a short time after starting, resulting in serious engine damage.
The TPI Relocation Kit is basically an adapter plate for relocating the injectors on KTM models with the TPI system. The injectors are routed from the cylinder ports to a single port just before the diaphragm. This ensures that the fuel mixes with the oil before it enters the combustion chamber. Thus, all important parts, such as the piston and the crankshaft, are immediately lubricated.

In order to move the injectors, ideally the tank, exhaust and the left engine mount should be removed. In addition, you can loosen the lower screws of the rear part and fold it up. Then remove the membrane box and convert the membrane to the adapter plate. Now move the injectors directly onto the new adapter plate. Apply some lubricant to the o-rings. Connect fuel supply line. Put the special plugs in place of the original injectors located on the cylinder.
