This rear tire was specially developed for use on soft sandy surfaces. The tread's special "sand scoops" are complemented by offset, traditional lug blocks on the sides.
The result of this tread design: maximum grip, excellent propulsion, and high directional stability, even when leaning. These characteristics are particularly important when accelerating out of corners when loose sand lies on a harder surface. The rubber compound used makes the special GIBSON® TYRE MX 5.1 sand tire ultra-lightweight, very flexible, and ensures optimal performance as well as long durability.
- Perfect "shovel design" of the studs, specially developed for sand tracks.
- The center and shoulder studs are arranged in a radius similar to a wide shovel.
