Solvent-free, high-strength, low-viscosity, oil-resistant and anaerobic-curing adhesive based on a di-methacrylate ester. Temperature range: -60 °C to +150 °C. For attaching coaxial parts such as E.g. bearings, bushings, shafts and hubs as well as for connecting plastic or rubber/metal or metal/metal surfaces.
Application
Roughly remove any contaminants such as oil films, dirt, paint or other coatings from the parts to be joined to ensure optimal fastening of the parts to be joined. Wet the parts to be joined and then put them together.
When it comes to curing time, a distinction must be made between active and passive materials. Active materials are metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure quick curing. With passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics, hardening occurs very slowly or only with the help of an activator.
Other Information
Due to the anaerobic properties, there must always be enough air in the bottle. Otherwise the adhesive could harden prematurely. Therefore the bottle can only be filled up to approx. 1/3. However, the filling quantity always corresponds to the contents stated on the container.
